the husb watched a performance with his E.Lit class, came back, told me it was a very good performance and said i’d enjoy it, so we proceeded to make some babysitting arrangement, booked the tics…
on our way to the esplanade today only did i realise this is my 1st time watching a performance in esplanade!! oh gosh, i felt excited like a lil’ kid & also felt like a dumbo mountain turtle at the same time :@

anyways, the husb knows me very well, i do enjoy the performance very very much indeed! i love their use of puppetry, wayang kulit, lively storytelling, clever use of same props for difference purposes, & live music (all the actors can play different kinda instruments, super cool!!), innovative & imaginative props & tools, it was a really fantastic performance!

thanks to the SILs & BIL for babysitting so we could enjoy the performance!!

Based upon a series of twisted tales, The Terrible Infants blends puppetry, live music, performance, storytelling and physicality into a highly sensory theatrical feast suitable for big kids and small grown-ups. Meet Tumb, the boy who eats his mum, Thingummyboy, with a face even his mother forgets, little Linena, the material girl, manky Mingus and of course little Tilly and her terrible tail. Roald Dahl meets Tim Burton in this hugely theatrical, scary, funny, sad, silly, junk-filled, puppetry packed, dark, delicious, musical, magical piece of performance. Featuring narration from Dame Judi Dench, enjoy an evening of deliciously wicked stories of naughty children and dreadful deeds!
